SiAN Propane Tank QCC OPD Valve (Overfill Prevention Device Valve) is a safety device used in Propane Tank to prevent overfilling. Its working principle can be summarized as follows:

The brass Safety Propane OPD Valve has a float inside, which moves up when the cylinder is filled with Propane Gas.

The float rises with the level of LPG and eventually reaches a point where it seals off the valve, preventing any further flow of Propane Gas.

This ensures that the Propane Tank is not overfilled and eliminates the risk of gas leakage or explosion.

In addition to the float, the Propane OPD Valve also has a pressure relief device, which releases excess pressure in case the temperature rises or if the cylinder is exposed to fire. This prevents the cylinder from exploding due to excessive pressure build-up.

The outlet of the OPD Valve is equipped with a QCC quick-closing connection device to prevent gas leakage caused by incorrect connection of the gas cylinder

Overall, the OPD Valve provides an additional layer of safety to Propane Tank and ensures that they are properly filled and maintained within safe limits.
